Iyinoluwa Aboyeji is a Nigerian entrepreneur and investor with a track record of building some of Africa’s most influential technology companies. He is the co-founder of Flutterwave, a leading payments infrastructure company that helps connect African businesses to the global economy. Under his leadership as CEO, Flutterwave became one of the continent’s fastest-growing fintech startups, processing over $2 billion in transactions and securing investment from major global firms including Y Combinator, Mastercard, Greycroft, and Greenvisor Capital.
Before Flutterwave, he co-founded Andela, a talent accelerator that trained and connected thousands of African software engineers with global companies. The company became one of the largest engineering organizations in Africa and attracted backing from investors such as Mark Zuckerberg’s Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and Google Ventures.
Currently, Iyinoluwa leads Fund for Africa’s Future, an early-stage investment platform that supports founders working on transformative businesses across the continent. Through this platform, he helps entrepreneurs, investors, and philanthropists understand how to build high-growth, impactful technology ventures in Africa. His work focuses on supporting founders with strong values, technical expertise, and a deep commitment to solving Africa’s most pressing challenges.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of Waterloo and sits on the boards of several organizations, including the Share Africa Project in Paris, Rainbow Educational Services Limited, and Filmo Realty.
